How to use
The sauce can be used to add some pazazz to almost anything that involves the noble tomato.
Think of it like a solid base. No need to add any herbs or spices, it’s balanced and delicious as it is.
For the adventurous, go ahead and put your own twist on the sauce — Get the oregano involved, throw in some extra chillies, get jiggy with it and make it yours.
Ingredients
Tomatoes [Tomatoes, Tomato Juice, Citric Acid],
Red Onion, Apple Cider Vinegar (SULPHITES),
Olive Oil, Chipotle in Adobo [Chipotle peppers,
Water, Tomato paste, Salt, Sugar, Onion and
Acetic acid], Paprika, Cumin, Garlic, Salt.
Our History
Sabenso is a combination of the Spanish words for “intense” & “flavour.” Developed on our travels in Mexico in 2023, and brought back as the house salsa for our Manchester taco truck, the sauce has taken on a life of its own.
We realised the sauce had the power to remove the stress of dinnertime. Even for those who love cooking, sometimes there simply isn’t enough time to start from scratch. Provided you have the sauce in your cupboard, we wanted to create an ever growing online guide to create memorable meals with just a couple of extra ingredients.Check out the first few recipes below.
